Ridding the Republican Party of Trump is going to harder then exterminating poison oak in your yard.
Impeached twice but not removed from office in either event because of GOP senatorial cowardice. Trump may not have the support of the majority in America but his base are active fanatics who can make any Republican primary challenge much, much more difficult. Just as Trump was able to suppress many weaker but more credible candidates in the 2016 Republican primaries.
Trump is the GOP's poison pill.
