Several weeks ago Crow posted that he thought I was "Hostile" towards religion, I haven't had the chance to address that until now.

First of all, I am a member of a non-denominational Christian Church in my town and have been for many years. While I won't claim to be there every Sunday, I'm pretty regular. I've never been into the "Name Brand" religion churches, they are too stuffy for me. At my church you will see most dressed casually, jeans and a tee shirt would be the norm. We welcome all, people of color, LGBT, even conservatives!

I'm no atheist or agnostic, I firmly believe in God, but I'm not one to wear it on my sleeve. I don't have one of those fish on the back of my car or one of those HE>I stickers either.

So why would Crow say I'm "Hostile towards religion"? I know why, it's because I'm totally against "Religious Accommodation" and I always have been. I have voiced that on this forum many times over the years when those issues have come up.

I believe that all people should have the undeniable right to the religion of their choice and the right to worship and practices that go with it. In your home or church you should be free to worship your God as you and your religion see fit. That can never be regulated by government nor should it be.

However, I'm also a firm believer in "Your Rights Stop Where My Nose Starts", you have no right to bother me, solicit me, or get in my way with your religion just as I don't in yours. I will make no accommodation for you and I don't expect you to make any for me.

If I walk into a public pharmacy with a legal prescription from a licensed physician, I expect the pharmacist to fill it, I don't give a crap what you believe. I will not be inconvenienced or make any accommodation for you, obviously pharmacist isn't the right job for you if you can't do the job due to your religious beliefs.

Remember that crazy lady in Kentucky, a county clerk who job it was to issue marriage licenses who refused to issue one to a Gay couple? That really pissed me off, They had every right to get the license and to get married, I don't give a crap what that lady believes in, it's irrelevant, if you can't do your job then obviously county clerk isn't the right job for you.

If I go into a public store to buy flowers or a cake as long as I pay for them I should be able to walk out with flowers and a cake, I don't give a crap what any employee in the store believes in. If you can't get the job done then obviously working in a store isn't the right job for you.

I'm pretty sure this is the reason Crow believes that I'm hostile towards religion, but actually I'm not, I'm pro-religion. I'm just 100% against religious accommodation. I don't play God, who am I to judge others? I believe that judgement day will come for each and every one of us, but only God can make that judgement, not any of us.

So to all of the people who are constantly whining and crying about their beliefs in the context of common everyday interaction with others, I say get over yourself. Believe what you like, you should be absolutely free to do so, but make sure it in no way interferes with my rights.

When the time comes, God will sort it out...
