Those two, Jordan and Banks are believers in the "Big Lie", how in the hell could they be on the investigation team? While they may not have been on the ground that day with the other insurrectionists, they have the same beliefs. In addition to that they are huge Donnie supporters.
This investigation is about both the insurrectionists and the guy(s) who instigated and egged them on. So you can't have anyone on the investigation team whose has already come out and said that they support one of the instigators. You'll never get to the truth like that, the old fox guarding the chicken coop thing.
All McCarthy is trying to do is block the investigation, and do anything he can to try and shut it down and we all know why. Just like Old Dude and Zombie on this board doing everything they can to try and whitewash the whole affair.
We will not allow that to happen, we will have a full and thorough investigation into the January 6 insurrection. Let's find out exactly who participated, who organized, who the leaders were, and who instigated this horrific attack on our nation's Capitol. And let's expose them for who and what they are, it's the right thing to do.
Anyone who doesn't support that is part of the problem, and either supports the insurrectionists and the instigators or at the very least is one of their sympathizers.
McCarthy needs to put his big boy pants on and nominate honest conservative investigators, and whatever the investigation brings, let the chips fall where they may...
