I've made a cursory search and yes, some Muslims have made terrorist attacks in America. One would have to ignore logic completely to assign the Islamic any responsibility for those attacks.

Stephen Paddock killed 60 people from the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. He was, at one time, a letter carrier for the USPO- is that responsible for his 'going postal'?

Or maybe he and the other terrorists, journalists and conspiracy freaks imagine the connection as an excuse?
