My views on Covid Today  

I am glad that things turned out OK, hope you do not go thru that again.

Covid has shown us two different methods the goverment can take when this type of crisis comes to the states.

Trump, made a point that each state would run the state individual program and the federal government would support them as needed.  On the federal level some travel to the states was restricted, but the states were allowed their very own mandates.  I remember that NO state went without what was required, there was NO shortage of anything. Because of state requests even Navy Hospital ships were made available, but not used.  Even our much debated vaccine was produced under Trump as he put the goverment to work managing what the materials needed and requested by the states.

Then came along Biden, as he took over he injected more and more federal control, more and more central planning, mandates started to come from the White House.  He started what many of us on the right consider, Socialism, big government control over our lives.  No wonder some started to reject, the socialist approach.  Now there is a shortage of tests and a shortage of treatment.  Bidens White House has taken control and failed.   for example both Regeneron and Eli Lilly treatments have to be ordered from the Department of Health and Human Sevices and not directly from the companies.  Why because the goverment needEd to control the supply, they failed to insure supplies were available.  The handling of COVID has now failed us as the incompetent goverment took over.  You will have a hard time convincing me that what Biden has done did any good, all it has done is put tax dollars into the pockets of his supporters.

In my mind this is a good example of what works and what fails!  It shows the value of the best goverment is the one closest to the people, "state governments".   It show the value of the 10 amendment, which Biden disregards and the failure of socialist type programs.
