My views on Covid Today  

Not only have I had management positions, I have owned and operated a Helicopter Company.  One of the few Bell 214 operators there was, yes I have been around the block.  That is why I have a very hard time with you thinking the federal government can set the tone and coordinate the resources, my experience they are a huge failure at many of their endeavors.  Have you gone fire fighting, what about forestry contracts, sky lift construction on goverment property, I can't think of any of goverment job that didn't have issues.

I can remember once when we needed to get the ship inspected to fight fires, the government experts needed to inspect it and issue a fire fighting card.  When they showed up for the inspection the ship was out working.  Crew called us in and as we approach the landing site the inspector said "God, that is big".  He had never seen a real S61 before!  That is your great goverment at work!  I have thousands of stories just like this.  If you think about it so do you, as you work with the FAA.

I have no reason to not to believe you about red vs blue death rates.  I do know for fact that state you live in had the highest death rate in the world at one time.  Currently you are at number 3.  There is much more that goes into a generic death tate than politics.  Such as general Heath, available care and  religious concepts.  And for any of us to think that a goverment can make plans to control a virus, is foolish.  Most of the time all they can figure out is when to have lunch.
