They will resort to violence to have their preferred government in place!  That has nothing to do with the will of the American people or the Constitution. Trump has openly denounced both, at times, and he has announced contradictory principles often.

Trump himself is no longer the threat he was before 2020. His inability to successfully cope with reality is clear now even to Trumpists. Numerous legal issues which he created will not beforgotten althoough they will take time to prosecute.

But Trumpism is a alive yet, dying slowly as it's issues disappear. The violent insurrectionary impulse will never go away. Violent revolutionaries are always a threat, no matter how irrational and looney-tunes they seem.

January 6 was a premature exercise, showing either the realism of their threat of violence or demonstrating a lack of discipline and plannning, but the will to kill Americans for thei9r cause was proven.
