More Evidence That All Citizens Should Be Armed...  

I disagree, for a rational, proven reason and one I have no data for, being mere observation.

More civilian weapons means more crime, something between 30% - 40% more. The theft of the weapons accounts for almost all the increased crime.

But the theft of a weapon means another, more armed criminals who acquire a weapon with intent.

Most people will not shoot even in the presence of open combat, a firefight. 9 out of 10 military combatants do not shoot in any given firefight. Over a deployment, 75% will not have fired a single time with intent.

For the first few seconds, people do not accept the reality of the attack. Some people are not aware that the danger exists. 

Then, there's the people that panic, shoot randomly.

You have a right to keep and bear arms. You have a responsibility to know how use, maintain and secure your weapons. The first without the second is dangerous and largely reflects the 'gun culture' in America.
