Has anyone seen my son, David?
He was last seen driving a new ( financed at 14%! ) Turbocharged WRX with a tuned exhaust. He was listening to Blue Oyster Cult on the stereo, just like his Dad. (In my case, driving a Pontiac G-8)
I gave him the G-8 for his 25th birthday. He put a supercharger on it, a new Cam, headers, Camaro rear end and tuned the transmission for new shift points required for the 500 or so wheel-horsepower he gets out of it. ( I'm so proud of that boy!)
Then something happened.
He bought a house. ( has a mortgage)
He got married. ( 4 years now)
He has a kid. (my new Grandson, Henry)
Daughter-in-law's family is well to do.
Davids Father-in-Law listens to "Yacht Rock" on XM stereo
(Could he be an ALIEN?)
Where's David?
(He's obviously been abducted by aliens!)
This new guy looks just like my son
But drives a 5-series turbo BMW..
and it's QUIET!
Worse yet,
This new guy now listens to nothing but STEELY DAN all the time
and he doesn't even have a CAR PAYMENT!
