Why would the fact that Trump has dedicated supporters discredit or change the fact that he's soliciting funds for a foundation that doesn't exist? Trump has a history of diverting funds from his valid foundations for his personal use. It's reasonable to believe that he is using a sham fund, the “Official Legal Defense Fund” for his own gain, is it not?
Admit the fact that he is deceiving his supporters.

Trump 2016 46.1% of the popular vote to Hillary's 48.2% But Trump outsmarted Hillary by using his campaign more effectively and winning the electoral college; and that's what counts. Trump 2020 46.9% was a moderate improvement, but Biden not only took the popular vote with 51.3%, he took the brass ring, the electoral college vote. And that's what counts!
Trump lost the 2020 election on his very own. Trump's 2020 delay in confronting Covid elected Joe Biden POTUS. That delay resulted in record unemployment, the sharpest economic contraction since the Great Depression, in and of itself enough reason to ignore his more or less successful first 3 years. Trump caused a significant portion of the more than a million COVID-19 deaths- 130,000 or more dead Americans because, as Trump admitted, he "didn't want to cause a panic..." Classic mistaken priorities.
(Y'all rootin' for COVID's return now that Biden has announced that the pandemic is over?) Go ahead and say it: Biden's hubris is comparable to Trump's.
