Is the US not the leading economy in the world?
If it is (which it is) then it leads the world in the good or bad.
If you remember, when the US had the subprime loan crisis it also effected the whole world.
Got it, something could effect Japan and have a minor effect in the US. But have inflation in the US and Japan will get it.
You also need to understand that every industrial economy has its economy foundation in petroleum, products and energy. Oil is traded world wide, got it, a world wide market place, in US Dollars. You must understand when the dollar value changes it has a major effect on all industrial economies.
Not only the dollar value effects the price of oil, but the biggest effect is the supply (remember that supply and demand thing). Biden's first week in office started a war on petrochemicals. Soon we didn even have enough production to supply our very own needs, let alone export any. Remember that supply and demand thing, we'll supply dropped, prices went up, and it was a world wide thing.
Got it, did you take economics 101?
