If a case, litigation, is filed, the judge wants to see some substantive evidence that the investigation is reasonable.


Trump had no evidence of substantial error or fraud in the 2020 election.


Were there irregularities? You bet. No human activity proceeds without errors. Is there any sign that that changed the outcome? No? If not, an investigation is not in order.
