How about the real reasons!

Simply put, people are moving from blue states not just to escape unaffordable housing and high taxes.  They're moving to escape fiscally irresposible, ineffective, unaccountable governments, that always want more tax revenues while delivering diminishing quality services and infrastructure of a topical city run by the left.  There's nothing like a crime infested homeless encampment a few yards from your home or businesses to change your calculations of the benefits of staying put.  Throw in decaying public schools, transportation, random crime, and higher cost of living,  the red states start to look awesome.

That is the main reasons people are moving, and the failure of the incompetent left is the Point!
