I read biased sources. I used to keep pet (?) snakes, too, including a copperhead. If one is aware of the dangers, consider them and act accordingly, then one can use almost any situation.
Consider the 2016 election. I coould not vote for Hillary and I had issues with Trump's self-centered, vindictive narcissism, so I voted for Evan McMullin who was a conservative and had a record in the Republican Party so I could honestly say I had not voted for Trump or Hillary. I handled two venomous candidates by not giving either any support. Sometimes, your position is a matter of honor, worth being defeated.
Trump was worth the effort to keep out of office. It's even more obviously so. 2020, the epidemic he ignored which killed hundreds of thousands of Americans; caused the shortest but sharpest economic contraction and highest unemployment rate since America's Great Depression.
Yes, I am opinionated but it's based on supporting evidence. Your opinion was obviously formed in the first three years of Trump's presidency. I understand that and considered supporting Trump's reelection in 2020, but how do you ignore him causing almost a million American's deaths and causing record high unemployment rates (America is nearing recovery from that... under Biden's administration) and the Trump flu recession- America is nearing recovery from that... under Biden's administration.
Trump screwed the pooch in 2020. He may also be criminally culpable for other actions. He also has a record of sexual abuse.
Trump is not 'conservative'. You've witnessed his push for autocracy. He is not Republican except tn the opportunistic sense.
Why would you vote for him? He is not what you claim. |
