I see you have responded to a post about red vs blue states. I do wish there was some economic understanding from the left. of course you link looks impressive and generally on paper Blue states look good when the data is cherry-picked. And of course you didn't use a link to a site that the economy is their specialty. Instead you went to a link from GPPR. GRRP only used data to make their point, where was cost-of-living Informatio. When cost of living is taken into account the distorted picture from your link gets straightened out. Blue and red states different cost of living, and the red states have a big economic edge.
example: The median rent in all blue states was $1,073 compared to $837 for red states - $236 difference. That's enough for a couple weekend ski passes. That data came from an financial report that's a year old. Sure it's worse now.
example: If I lived in San Francisco, costs would Be 96% higher.

If libz couldn't manipulate information, they couldn't turn it into propaganda.
The libz can't squeeze all the truth out of any of their propaganda, even though they might like to.
What they would find out is that propaganda, without even a kernal of truth would never be accepted on its face value.
Then they would be back to the lib drawing board, trying to squeeze out all the truth from their next attempt at propaganda.
And so the lib lie cycle would repeat, up to and including a...

Overall, cities, even in 'red' states tend to be 'blue'.
There may well be higher unemployment in the more prosperous 'blue' states as your link alleges. That's a complex issue that relates to the productivity in general, people tend to move to jobs and more prosperous areas and when the economy declines, as it did in 2020, those areas have increased unemployment. People emmigrate from those regions, as California's unprecedented population decline in Trump's covid 19 recession. |
