Msg ID: 2692127 How are they going to keep people from getting 100 jabs? +2/-2

I love the program, and I'm all in with "Whatever it takes" to accomplish the goal of most Americans vaccinated in 2021.

My only question is, what about all the major stoners who gets his/her Joint & Jab at 10:00 and by 1:00 he's/she's back for another "Jab" at a clinic down the street.

"Joints for Jabs": Washington state will give you free weed to get vaccinated

Washington state's liquor and cannabis board announced on Monday that it will allow adults to claim a free marijuana joint when they receive a COVID-19 vaccination shot. The promotion, called "Joints for Jabs," is in effect now through July 12, and is a part of the state's strategy to get more people vaccinated.

The board requires that participating cannabis retailers may provide only pre-roll joints, not including other products such as edibles, to customers ages 21 or older who have received their first or second vaccination shot.

This is not the only strategy the state's board has employed to increase vaccinations. it also provided liquor licensees the option to offer one alcoholic beverage at no cost to customers with proof of vaccination. The free drink promotion runs until June 30.

Over 3.7 million people are fully vaccinated in Washington state, with 4.4 million people having at least received one dose, according to Our World in Data.

Other states and private companies are offering a variety of incentives to promote vaccinations. The Biden administration is pushing to get 70% of American adults at least one dose by the Fourth of July, and several states are offering promotional incentives that encourage people to get vaccinated. Sixty-two percent of U.S. adults had received at least one dose of vaccine as of last week. This week, it's increased to almost 64%.

There are a lot of programs going on around the country, the "Joints for Jabs" is just one of many. They are effective in motivating people to get their jabs, which is good for all of us. If a person like Flipper who has said that he will never get the jab, doesn't want to participate because he believes in lame conspiracy theories, that's fine, but he should not be encouraging others to not get their jabs, that's just wrong.

He's doing a disservice to his country and fellow Americans due to his mental issues...

So what we have is a FREE vaccine (paid for by tax payers) and the value added by getting one is not sufficient to convince many people.  So someplaces are giving away more free stuff (paid for by tax payers) as an incentive to get one. Kind of like the blue light special they had at K Mart (Paid for by tax payers).  What a joke!

First, let's blame Trump, they always blame Trump anyway, then

call them all racist, that appears to work, but it maybe getting overused, so then

mabye they should threaten them with no vacation, a shot card, or a star on their chest.

OR

Maybe they should try telling the truth, convince people with facts, and just let people make the choice.

useful idiot
