There are certain aspects of the Caribbean Pirate rebellion that bear remembering. We sharks were facxinatee by it.. just a few years before the founding of the American Republic. 

You see, Libz, America wasn't always on top of the world of global trade, finance and military adventurism. in 1715 England was the big kid on the block -- it's adversaries/ rivals Spain, France and Russia were legitimate plundering targets on the high seas when the the English government wanted to enlist "Privateers"-- but if  mere seamen took such matters into their own hand, why this was an act of treason against God, Country, and King- punishable by hanging.

Where were you back then Jetsheep? You would have been one of the peasants gossiping in the local tavern "Didja hear the King has issued a PARDON to tha bloody PIRATES, he has? Maybe Creepy Uncle Joe should take a lesson from history-- but Libz and their leaders are too dumb to learn from it. History is what the SaY it is anyway, or so they imagine, but I digress..

You see, the head of the Bank of England was PISSED as were the English merchants. The Sugar trade and its profits was being ground to a halt in the Caribbean by a bunch of nautical thug, who hung out together in the port of Nassau Bahamas. They raided Tge Spanish and French for a while, but soon found out that raiding English Slave ships loaded with gold from selling slaves to English colonies was very profitable. Then they had the temerity to steal the biggest slave ship commissioned by the English- the "Winow" an armed warship with a capacity of carrying 500 slaves. The pirates wanted the ship, and freed the slaves, making able seamen of many of them-- who were happily to avenge themselves against the English noblemen who had enslaved them. 

So you see, libz, the Pirates inspired a multicultural Pirate Republic in Nassau-- they all had a vot, including (to the horror of English nobles) the Freed Black Slaves! And now with Blackbeard and several other notable pirates having the military means to resist the Royal Navy, how could they be stopped? The Slave trade and Sugar trades were colapsing, and financial losses mounted. "These brigands must be stopped!" the merchants and their parlementary puppets cried.

Nothing changes. It's always about the money. Especially when governments get involved, but I digress, again.

Enter Captain Rogers, a renowned and fearless Pirate hunter hired by the Bank of England to destroy the Caribean pirates and their "Democratic Republic" once and for all. ( Think Hillary -- then Biden, opps Digressing AGAIN!) 

Rogers was too well versed in 18th century Naval Warfare to take on "The Winow" and her broadside of cannon, with African seamen reloading and trimming the sails. Blackbeards notorious burning wicks dangling from his beard as the devils head Jolly-Roger would close in and decimate a lesser vessel - and there were none bigger at the time-- ( Think Donald Trump, 300 years later-- and his trade reforms with China, his border sanctions with Mexico, againn.. I digress)

Captain Rogers obviously preferred the high seas to politics, but he was shrewd enought to realize that if King George I offered the pirates amnesty and let them keep their loot, it would divide and conquer the Pirate republic of Nassau, once and for all. The Wealthy Pirate leaders might retire, then the diminished rebellious Pirate underclasses would emerge. If they persisted, they could be taken down peacemeal, and crushed in detail.

And to make a long story short, that's what untimately happened. 

And as for Blackbeard, he left the Caribbean and made an unholy alliance with the colonial Governor of Virginia -- this time to protect the slave trade-- but there is no honor among theives-- Pirate or political theves especially. The Governor eventually hunted Blackbeard down to gain favor with his English overlords, while his remaining contemporaries were mostly hung. 

And, my gullible little Libz, thus fo all "Democratic Republics" and their Hero's die, whenever they stand against the power and Might of the King, and our "Soverign Lord In Heaven" ( Think Lord Rothschild) 

Today,  because you lib tools have been bred for slavery, it's much easier to rule over you. You shout "racist" and you think it's a broadside. You shout "homophobe" and you imagine yourselves swinging  a cutlass. But that is the way you have been taught to think. Blackbeard's head was sawed off and delivered to the Governor. And in your world of "Friendly Facsism" -- Capitol Rioters should receive "life sentences"

As the pirates of the Golden Age became more fierce and defiant, European countries were at a loss for how to deal with what was becoming a plague on commerce. English pirates, Blackbeard included, no longer avoided merchants of their own nationality, and many turned on trade to and from the British colonies in retribution for the executions of fellow pirates. In response, on September 5, 1717, King George I of Great Britain issued the “Proclamation for Suppressing of Pirates,” granting full pardon of all crimes to pirates who surrendered themselves to any governor in the colonies within the next year. On or after September 6, 1718, any pirate who neglected or refused to surrender was fair game for capture and trial. The proclamation offered a reward of 20 to 100 pounds for the capture or assistance in the capture of any pirate after that date, depending on the pirate’s rank among his or her crew. As an added incentive, pirates themselves were offered 200 pounds to turn in their captains, over $40,000 in today’s money!

This wasn’t the first time England tried dealing with pirates by granting clemency. James II granted a pardon in 1687 to all pirates who surrendered to his appointed naval officers within a year of his proclamation. He also stated that any who refused to surrender “shall be pursued with the utmost Severity, and with the greatest Rigour that may be, until they and every of them be utterly Suppressed and Destroyed,” and that they would never again be granted mercy. The Golden Age shows us his attempts weren’t as successful as he hoped.

King George I reissued his proclamation to the West Indies in December of 1718, this one known more widely as the “King’s Pardon,” extending the surrender deadline to July 1, 1719 because he believed some pirates did not have enough notice to surrender by September 1718. He offered the same pardons for pirates and rewards for captors, but the incentives were too good to pass up for the growing numbers of pirate hunters roaming the seas, resulting in many pirates being unable to avoid the noose.
