Dementia Joe Biden is at it again, revealing that his mental faculties are completely gone when on Thursday he tried to give a speech in which his brain locked up for what seemed like forever before he botched his own quote and then got history wrong. Biden was trying to talk about the U.S. engagement in Afghanistan when he suddenly stopped dead in his tracks, stood there unable to speak, and looked confused as he tried desperately to remember what he wanted to say.

At one point, as he answered questions from the press after his announcement that the U.S. is pulling out of Afghanistan, Biden said, “We went for two reasons. One, to…” And then he froze, looking off in the distance trying to remember what he wanted to say. After an uncomfortable pause in which it was clear he just couldn’t get his brain to work, he finally added: “Bring Osama bin Laden to the gates of hell.”

This is a botch of his own catchphrase. Biden has several times in the past formulated the Afghanistan mission as “following bin Laden to the gates of hell—and we got him.” He went on Thursday to mumble that he supported the mission to end Osama bin Laden. Regardless of what he meant to say, it is all false history. Biden did not support the invasion of either Iraq or Afghanistan.

In fact, he was one of the few to counsel Barack Obama not to approve the mission to get bin Laden. In 2012, for instance, ABC News reported that “Vice President Joe Biden confessed this weekend that he advised President Obama not to launch the mission that ultimately killed Osama bin Laden last spring.” “During remarks at a Democratic congressional retreat this weekend, Biden explained that when it came time to make the final decision, he had some lingering uncertainties about whether the 9/11 mastermind was in the suspected compound in Pakistan,” ABC continued.

He got to me. He said, ‘Joe, what do you think?’ And I said, ‘You know, I didn’t know we had so many economists around the table.’ I said, ‘We owe the man a direct answer. Mr. President, my suggestion is, don’t go. We have to do two more things to see if he’s there,’” ABC said that Biden told them. So, on Thursday, not only did Joe Biden muff his own catchphrase about his support for going after Osama bin Laden, his fake news isn’t even true. Was he lying or was it his dementia? Or Both?

Trump was a serial liar. Even given the wide latitude allowed political statements, he regularly engaged in openly false and misleading statements. Often contradictory lies which somehow in his mind were rational. He lied about the danger of the novel coronavirus because he didn't want to create a panic? I thought 'leaders' were expected to successfully find a way to minimize loss, not avoind and pretend the issue doesn't exist.

Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus

"Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus is a Latin phrase meaning "false in one thing, false in everything." At common law, it is the legal principle that a witness who testifies falsely about one matter is not credible to testify about any matter. Although many common law jurisdictions have rejected a categorical application of the rule, the doctrine has survived in some American courts."

Under those circumstances, it is reasonable to doubt every one of Trump's statements until verified as fact. Nothing to dio with 'giving him a break'.

Y'all (frog boys) are rightfully distraught at Biden's election. He is a perpetual 'also ran' and proof that any candidate opposing Trump who had a modicum of rational presentability and minimal experience leading a political party would have beaten Trump after his la la land novel coronavirus period.

Biden's president? Fine. Not a fan, but he's not actively abti-American like Trump is and was. Your presenting him as less than Compos mentis further degrades Trump- he, a sitting president, lost to Joe Biden. Joe Biden. Joe Biden beat your perfect superman.

Oh, review some of Trump's speeches= he rambles incoherently all the time, spitting out sound bites. "Sound Bites" are meant to be repeated out of context, standing on their own emotional impact- "MAGA!", for instance. 

"Some very fine people on both sides" including neo-nazis. Hard to visualize anybody who identifies as a 'Nazi' as a fine person.

REPORTER: Mr. President, are you putting what you’re calling the alt-left and white supremacists on the same moral plane?

TRUMP: I am not putting anybody on a moral plane, what I’m saying is this: you had a group on one side and a group on the other, and they came at each other with clubs and it was vicious and horrible and it was a horrible thing to watch, but there is another side. There was a group on this side, you can call them the left. You’ve just called them the left, that came violently attacking the other group. So you can say what you want, but that's the way it is.

REPORTER: You said there was hatred and violence on both sides?

TRUMP: I do think there is blame – yes, I think there is blame on both sides. You look at, you look at both sides. I think there’s blame on both sides, and I have no doubt about it, and you don't have any doubt about it either. And, and, and, and if you reported it accurately, you would say.

REPORTER: The neo-Nazis started this thing. They showed up in Charlottesville.

TRUMP: Excuse me, they didn't put themselves down as neo-Nazis, and you had some very bad people in that group. But you also had people that were very fine people on both sides. You had people in that group – excuse me, excuse me. I saw the same pictures as you did. You had people in that group that were there to protest the taking down, of to them, a very, very important statue and the renaming of a park from Robert E. Lee to another name.

And I think it is time to reexamine those who fought in the Civil War. One side was determined to destroy the United States of America in order to continue owning people, ensavement. The destruction of America to enslave people is heroic?
