First of all, the  economy was booming under Trump. No question about it. And wages were going up as well which is always a good thing when inflation is down.

Under Biden, inflation has soared to over 7% which is the worst inflation rate in over 39 years. There is no recovering of the economy. It was great before doofus stepped in and completely ruined it.

Biden claims the economy is great, please explain where that could possibly come from. You and the moderator are living in an alternate universe.

Moderator says, look, gas prices are going down. But what he fails to mention is the fact that gas has gone up over $1.13/gallon since Biden took over. It drops .2/gallon and you guys are patting creepy joe on the back. Delusional. plain and simple.

My opinion?

Trump was a disaster. We had the worst contraction since WW2 perhaps. His response to covid was abysmal. Compared to other countries, we had nearly 25% of the world's deaths with 5% of the world's population.

This mismanagement of Covid, "purposely playing it down", cost america greatly.

Trump also cost us our reputation internationally. I traveled the world heavily during the pandemic in every continent besides Antarctica. The world viewed us as a joke when Trump was in office.

The Pew Research survey internationally showed the same thing. The world opinion of us dropped drastically when Trump was in office and then returned back to higher numbers when Biden took office again.

Obsy, you can stomp your feet all you want and believe what you want. I think you're delusional, but that's my oipinion. The world agrees with Crow and me, and not with you.

So, you can continuet to shout, name call, label - that's teh way your mind operates.

I look at facts... I look at large sets of data to see how people really view Trump throughout the world.

Trump is the one where the view of America dropped drastically. It doesnt matter what you want to believe , these are facts. All but 2 countries had severely lowered views of America when Trump was in office. When he got back out, the views went way back up again.

Bladeslap if you consider the presidents Covid buy the number of deaths, then you have blinders on, which president had more.  Biden wins!

If you consider the president helping the medical word. Under Biden we even have shortages of teatment supplies, masks, and testing stuff.  NO shortages under Trump, crap he even dropped some regulations to make supplies happed.  Trump did a awesome job, Biden failed.

When you consider the total number of deaths in the US compared to the remaining world, you are not viewing the issue truthfully.  Covid strikes at the unhealthy.  Has a lot more to say about the counties general health than it ever has to say about anything else.

our international standing has never been as bad as it is right now.  Sure under Trump many did not like him taking away the piggy bank, and now with Biden the piggy bank is back.  We are back to buying friends.

After Biden's disaster in Afghanistan, there is NO nation that trust us anymore.  Our own military and our best allies no longer trust Biden.

Bidens is the worlds worst leader, for the first time in many years counties have troops amassed waiting for the war to start.

I struggle trying to talk logic and statistics with you. It's as if there is some disconnect ...

The ONLY way you can measure how well our country did is in comparison to other countries at the SAME TIME. If you seriously are trying to look at the total number of deaths, then I seriously quesiton your ability to reason through anything more than the most basic conversations.

The ONLY way we can determine how well America is doing is not by looking at absolute numbers, like number of deaths, etc ... You have to look at the comparison to how the other countries did. 

When we do strategy planning, you look at the cumuluative threat in any situation. The cumulative threat or number is how you measure the performance of the individual countries. It's like saying Look how bad Obama did with the nuber of jobs lost or the how the economy did ... but then when you look at 1) What he inherited 2) How did America do compard to other countries 

We have a "New Normal" world-wide - This new normal 

The only way you can possibly assess the performance of the US is by comparing it to its peers in the same period. Anything short of that and the argument makes little if any sense.

Another example is looking at our recovery post 2008 - How was our unemployment activity compared to other countries recoviries - 

Maybe you can look at the GDP comapred to our previous GDP, look at the percent off of our average, then comapred that to others countries.

That's how I would personally think you could accurately assess

So, Covid deaths ... Tkae a period of time - the beginning of the pandemic. US had 5% of the population and 20-25% of the world's deaths. One could argue that we had better reporting ... sure, there are other variables...but when you look at the percent of the popuation of the world versus how many deaths or infections, you get a better idea of how we've done.

Compare known quanitites rather than taking an arbitrary comparison between years

Because there are so many variables It is silly to compare nation to nation for much.

Have you ever considered that because Hospitals got paid for COVID deaths in the US that the numbers are not exact.  Do you know we did not account for people that died because of COVID vs people that died with COVID!

How could you see it any other way?

I mean, Trump had one of the greatest economy in the world. And Trump messed it up by getting bamboozeled at the polls allowing an incompetent baffon into office. Hence one of the worst economies in almost 50 years.

And yes, Trump was responosible for the lowest unemployment rate in history. And he also messed that up by allowing the dems to steal the election making way for someone to destroy small businesses, fire hard working Americans causing businesses to close down for good and causing a shortage of employees that were making more money sitting on their asses then working.

And this of course trickled down to serious supply chain shortages causing the inflation rate to be the worst in 50 years. And this of course has almost doublered the cost of building materials and basis consumer products that are used everyday. And of course empty shelves.
