Flipper,

Yes, the sanctions are having a major impact

The US and other countries have frozen 600 billion in assets...the "reserve fund"

The Interest rates have been hiked from 7.8% to 20% in Russia

The Ruble has crashed down 30-40%

Russian Stock market has closed for fear of crashing

Energy company BP has just divested their share in the oil company

No Russian Airliners are allowed in most airspace

SWIFT access cut off for many major Russian banks

Germany now supplying arms to the frontlines, first time in 60+ years?

Poland now getting invovled

Kosovo asking to join Nato and allowing US to establish Airbase there

Sweden and Finland, previously wanting to stay neutral, are joining NATO

And this from the Biden Administration:

"We learned over the course of the weekend from our allies and partners was the Russian Central Bank was attempting to move assets and there would be a great deal of assets starting on Monday morning from institutions around the world. So, we took these that we're taking these actions in a way that they will be effective immediately," an official said.

This is going to prevent the Russian Government from propping up their economy with the reseve cash they put aside.

And let's go a little further. Retired Russian Generals have spoken out against Putin, sepcifically the head of that organization used to be the Russian Ambassador to the U.S. and have denounced what Putin is doing as a war crime.

A retired Russian general's criticism may signal a larger problem for Putin | TheHill

Flipper, your mind is full of conspiracies

Putin has gone off the rails. Has nothing to do with his puppet Trump or Biden falling asleep at the wheel. Putin has been in isolation for far too long and people believe he is suffering from a mental illness.

This is the beginning of the end for Putin. Hopefully there are controls to prevent a catastrophe. To understand how off the rails he is and how much he realizes he miscalculated, he's threatening with the nuclear option...that shows how weak he has become and how poor his strategy is.

You're former military ... you don't see this?

YeahBuddha, I see this.

Lets hope it works

And perhaps Creepy Joes incompetence is working out for some good

following the law of "unintended consequences"

NATO now has to pony up-- Trump wanted em too, but they weren't facing an existential crisis, like they are now.

The real question: As long as Putin is in power he will call the shots-- the Russians have a fatalistic attitude toward suffering. They don't care about the stock market, or Oil prices, they are used to long bread lines from te old USSR, so there won't be the pressure to oust Putin from below. How will he lose power?

As for foriegn investors in Russian industry, they knew the risks and can afford the losses. Still you have a sociopath in charge.(Putin) . which is almost as bad as s teleprompter "president" we have here.

We , at least, have Democratic elections-- when they aren't rigged that is, or corrupted by mindless leftists.

feckless Joes days are numbered. NATO must realize "if it's to be, it's up to me!"

that's my take on it, for now.

We haven't forgotten the mask mandates and other Joe atrocities, including 15 trillion in new debt.

"Never underestimate Joes ability to fuck things up!"

--Barack Hussein Obama

Useful idiot!

Trump's words on NATO

"Nato is Obsolete"

And Trump threatened to pull out of it

Trump doesnt like something unless it has his name on it, either in idea or in concrete.

Trump is a sick human...Flipper, too bad you're brainwashed and dont' see that

That's why his on AG, VP, Nat Sec Adv, Fomer sec of state all say he's either a f** moron, incapable of running the office, among other thigns.

You gloss over these things. Smart and aware people don't forget those "details" ... they mean something.
