1. Find anything going wrong anywhere in the world

2. Blame Biden

3. Go to step 1

Brilliant

Is that your excuse for actually voting for creepy Joe?

As a long time conservative Republican who had never voted Democratic in 50 years, I had to vote for Biden because Trump is an existential danger to America, the world.

I could have voted to reelect him based on his administration in the years 2017, 2018 and 2019. Not a great administration record but trump did accomplish things, some I disagreed with, but "perfect is the enemy of the good".

He lost it in 2020. He's explained the error as wishing to present a positive image in his reelection campaign. A national epidemic that he had minimized, mischaracterized and delayed a response to did not present Trump as a capable leader.

Once he started down that line, it became harder and harder to correct which imply his earlier error. Trump does not handle criticism well, he views it as an attack. He correctly viewed the political damage he was doing himself. It took several months to act meaningfully in any way and by then the pandemic was an  established American epidemic.

The 2020 Trump Flu epidemic got Biden elected, it was an egregious failure by Trump.

In the booth, could I vote for the man who was responsible for at least several hundred thousand American deaths? America's Covid-19 fatality rate was 6th highest, following Mexico at #1, South Africa, Brazil, Russia and Chile.

In the booth, could I vote for the man who was responsible for the highest unemployment rate ever?

In the booth, could I vote for the man who was responsible for the sharpest economic contraction since the Great Depression?

In the booth, could I discard any influence on the ultimate outcome by a symbolic vote on higher principles than presented by the Two-Party Establishment? I didn't vote for Trump or Hillary in 2016 precisely because I believed them both bad choices for America.

So, like 51.3% of Americans I voted for a reliable politician, an also ran with a record of understanding Washington and making compromises. Imperfect progress addressing America's issues is better than perfect no progress.

Is Biden's record impressive? Nope. But no American boots on the ground in Afghanistan or the Ukraine, that's a positive. Speculating as to how Trump would have handled those issues is wondering as you gaze at your anus.

Biden is rebuilding strategic alliances. International ties cost us but not as much as isolation. Which is and was Trump's strategy.
