Msg ID: 2732231 Poll: 64 percent believe Trump committed crimes before presidency +2/-0

It's been a long time since I had any formal math instruction, but I think  that 64% of Americans is accurately presented as 'most Americans'.

And this poll pre-dates January 6. And this poll pre-dates his calling elected officials in Georgia soliciting corruption of an election.

Poll: 64 percent believe Trump committed crimes before presidency

Donald Trump

Nearly two-thirds of Americans believe that Donald Trump committed crimes before he became president, according to a newQuinnipiac poll conducted after Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen testified to Congress.

Among those surveyed, 64 percent believe that the president committed crimes before he was elected, with 24 percent saying they don’t think he did.

Those polled were split on whether they believe Trump has committed crimes while in office: According to the poll, 45 percent believe the president has, while 43 percent say he hasn’t.

Cohen last week gave a high-profile public hearing to Congress in which he commented on the president’s personal character, as well as payments made to women to keep quiet about what they said were former affairs with Trump. Cohen also spoke to lawmakers behind closed doors for two other days last week and is expected to speak in another closed hearing on Wednesday.

The hearings were ahead of Cohen’s three-year prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to lying to Congress, campaign finance violations and other crimes.

When asked who they believe more, half of Americans — 50 percent — said they trust Cohen, while only 35 percent believe the president.

The majority of Americans, however, do not think that Congress should begin the process to impeach Trump. Only 35 percent say the process should begin, compared with 59 percent who say it shouldn’t.

House Democrats, now in the majority, have said that they will not begin talking about the impeachment process until after special counsel Robert Mueller’s report is released and depending on whether any wrongdoing is revealed.

Quinnipiac University surveyed 1,120 voters nationwide from March 1 to March 4. The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.4 percentage points.

Thursday Ratings: Jan. 6 Committee Hearing Draws 19 Million Viewers

Jan 6 Committee Hearing Primetime

ABC’s two-hour coverage averaged 4.9 million total viewers, TVLine has learned. Of the other broadcast networks, NBC tallied 3.6 million viewers, while CBS drew 3.4 million. (Fox aired MasterChef Junior and Don’t Forget the Lyrics reruns; The CW’s regularly scheduled drama programming is detailed below.)

Amongst cable news networks, MSNBC led the pack with 4.2 million total viewers, followed by CNN’s 2.6 million viewers. Fox News, which didn’t cover the hearing itself, averaged nearly 3 million viewers during the two-hour block. Fox Business (to which Fox News anchors’ actual news coverage was relegated) drew 223,000, while CNBC averaged 160K.

ABC also commanded the largest share of Adults 18-34 and 25-54, while CNN easily led all cablers in those measures.

During the regular news cast before the hearings the ratings was higher, than the hearing itself..
Hearings came on, people turned it off!

No body it taking this serious!

One question for You.

If the republicans held a investigation hearing and only hand picked republicans to be on it, would you believe the outcome of that hearing?  Of course you wouldn't!

Why should anyone believe this shit show?

Why should anyone believe this shit show?

Because there will be verifiable evidence presented?

Why should anyone believe this shit show?

Politics is all about promises. If Trump is proven a liar, as as he will be, only a fool will believe him. What good is the word of a liar?

Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus

Again that is a lie.

Most people do not pay any attention to what Trump is doing!

You have been proven wrong: Poll: 64 percent believe Trump committed crimes before presidency

But you ignore contradictory evidence and change the subject to people changing the channel in the middle of the hearings. But they were interested enough to start viewing and most hearings are drier than the Sahara.

They do not care, and they do not believe the lefts Trump crap anymore.

Ah, but they do. That's why they tuned into the hearings at all.

They don't watch the Jan 6 kan (sic) committee shit show!

They may not watch but they will note the results.

They do not think he needs to go to jail.

But the majority do believe he should be barred from p[politics.

People as rich as Trump almost never go to jail, do they? And you think that is right?

They believe the election was stolen

Don't you get tired of being wrong?

Trump’s own officials say 2020 was America’s most secure election in history

Homeland Security put out a statement with state and local officials that countered the president’s fraud claims.

We are much more concerned now, because we have the worst president ever!

I am not a Biden supporter, so what shall I argue? That Americans were wrong in the 2020 elections?

Did they vote Trump out of office or did they vote Biden in? Both are correct and both are moot.
