You woudnt EVER get me in an airliner if I dint need to commute to work occasionally. I'd rather drive and I frequentlyy do..

The last airline employee who notoriously abandoned his post, was a gay steward as I recall. He reputedly popped  a beer, made a quick PA announcement saying he was "outta here" , opened the emergency exit, slid down the ramp to the tarmac , and simply went "home"

They arrested him later at his boyfriends house. Abandoning a post as a crewmember is a federal crime.
