How do you feel that Trump passed a law making it a felony to improperly handled classified material. Should he be exempt from it?

I feel just fine about how Trump took care of classified material.  He was not just an employee that need direction, (like Hillary) he held the position on top, the person that had total control over what was classified or not.  He could declassifiy, without any process.

So, we just want to be sure we understand -

The rules don't apply to Trump, correct? He can do whatever he wants ... That's what you're saying, correct?

I don't anyone shoould be exempt from any law. Regardless of their position.

If anyone compromises national security, it should be dealt with severely.

The issue always seems to be intent. Which is never proven.

Hitlery is  the perfect example. She should be in prison right now for knowingly destroying classified emails to avoid prosecution. She was guilty as hell. Comey even said as much

Regardless of intent, she intentionally destroyed evidence. Automatic prison sentence, or death penalty for treason.

So what is really your question

First, the classified info sent to Hillary was

1) Mostly not classified when it was sent

2) The markings were confusing, so anyone could have made that mistake

3) She was secretary of state at the time, so she had access to that info, she just didn't handle it like she should have

4) The information that was "classified" was about drone strikes that had already been made public, but the documents were still considered classified

---------

Here's where the difference is

1) Trump took the documents off site

2) The statements he made about having highly classified documents on site were false (which led to the raid)

3) The found HUNDREDS of classified documents in January at his Maro Lago Resort. Some of the documents found were "Top Secret / sensitive compartmented information"

So, if it is indeed the case that he took them off-site, illegally held that at his resort, do you think there should be any penalty for him? After all, he did sign the new stricter law in ...

What think you?
