This is not good!

DOW jumped to over 1K loss. The DOW loss is now in the top 10 for loss in one day.

What is really funny is today the White House is having a celebration over the signing of the Inflation reduction act.

Notice that the DJIA is stronger than at any point in the Trump administration.

Notice that the Covid Recession puked about a third of the DJIA point immediately before the epidemic.

Notice that the DJIA started it's last climb when Biden defeated Trump in 2020.

In Trump's own words:

“In many cases, I probably identify more as Democrat,” Trump told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer in a 2004 interview. “It just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans. Now, it shouldn’t be that way. But if you go back, I mean it just seems that the economy does better under the Democrats. …But certainly we had some very good economies under Democrats, as well as Republicans. But we’ve had some pretty bad disaster under the Republicans.”

The problem with quoting Trump on anything is that he is an acknowledged liar.

You spend a lot of time trying to twist stuff to make your point, like the post this is about.

the DOW has historically always gone up. President after President it has historically gone up.  There was no reason with a normal economy that it will not go up.  So it is only natural that President after President would have a higher DOW than others.  But throughout history the goverment has done things that created a loss of value because issue's created in the econom.  Like COIVD, goverment created mandate's that caused the economy to drop.  The DOW started it's recovery under Trump.  The DOW went up 33.1%.

Trump handled the COIVD crisis by making sure every state had what they needed.  He dropped regulations and had a shot developed.  Trump allowed states to handle the virus as they wanted.  Many Red states and blue states took different directions, most red states did much better than blue and still do!

Biden took over and started big goverment control, and basically thing eventually got worse.  In Idaho the hospital's eve had trouble getting the basic items like surgery gowns.  Biden had a higher death rate than Trump.  Blue state like New York and New Jersey had the highest death rate in the world.

Biden took overs economy that was on a great increase 33.1% increase.  And of course the DOW keep going up.  But Biden actions effected the economy, it drop down to just a 3 to 4 % increase, to today we are into our secound quarter of negative growth.

Like I have said, you must spend a lot of time trying to find stuff that is trying to put lipstick on a pig.

Bidens DJIA is stronger than Trump, of course it is, but it's growth rate is now in the red.

"I really think," Not a Biden fan, but Trump made him electable. An incumbent POTUS has to be pretty bad top lose to a perpetual also ran.

More than a million Covid deaths and the 17th highest death rate behind Latvia #16; Slovenia #15; Greece #14; etc.

Now, why don't you ask yourself why the richest country in the world with state of the art medical facilities and a fair public health establishment has the 17th highest death rate and the most cases since Trump's presidency? Because The Donald gave Covid a runniing start because it was an election year, he, in his words: "Didn't want to panic Americans."

Biden is a poor POTUS but Trump made him electable in 2020. A million+ dead Americans, the sharpest economic contraction since the Great Depression and a record high unemployment rate.

You're a big state's rights guy, aintcha? Even when the entire nation is dying of a national epidemic. Kinda like allowing each state to fight an aggressive invader all by themselves...

Oh yeah- weren't you gloating about the death rates in 'blue states' as the epidemic spread in elder care homes and big cities.

I think Trump did a great job, even handling the Virus.  That is easily proven by the numbers and common sense.   The country may have been number 17, but if New Jersey and New York were countries they would be #1 and #2.

And yes as the richest country in the world we supplied a vaccine, respiratory equipment and other medical supplies to the world.  All because of Trump!

You forget that from day one of the virus, we were lied too.  No one was aware of what would happen or the best direction to go.  But Trump took some actions and was ridiculed by the left.  Remenber Nancy taking a trip to China Town to prove it was all safe.  I am sure if the left was in charge from the start of this virus we would have suffered much more.

Sure I am a big states right guy.  That is what the constitution says!  Read it.  I do not have a foundation of Marxism like you do.  I do not believe central planning has much value.  Anyone can see the difference in red and blue states.

Not even close- New York state is #16 and New Jersey is #8.

Mississippi is number 1 in death rate. It's RED.

Arizona, pink is number 2.

Alabama is #3 It's RED.

West Virginia #4  It's RED.

New Mexico #5 first blue state.

Florida #13- purple.

Nevada #15, blue.

You forget that from day one of the virus, we were lied too.

Yep, by Trump, from the get gone. It's only 15 cases. It's gonna disappear.

There's a case to be made both ways, ignorance or deceit. But Trump himself admitted the dishonesty because he 'didn't want to panic Americans'. He's an acknowledge liar, so which is it? Prevent panic or ignorance.

We had the worst resposne to the Coronviru compared to almost every single modern country

From my friend who works at the CDC, Trump made so many major mistakes with lack of coordination and minimzing the virus.

His own wife even told him (according to a new book) that you need to take the virus more serioulsy

So many peolpe did not take it seriously, because of Trump's comments multiple times that it's "No worse than the flu"

Those words, no matter how you try to spin in, killed thousands and thousdands of people who believed it was not a serious threat.

The oriignal variant was highly deadly. Hospital hallways were turned into morgues ...

You think we forgot the damage he did? The lack of courage to be honest with the American public?

Pro-Trump counties now have far higher COVID death rates. Misinformation is to blame

NPR looked at deaths per 100,000 people in roughly 3,000 counties across the U.S. from May 2021, the point at which vaccinations widely became available. People living in counties that went 60% or higher for Trump in November 2020 had 2.73 times the death rates of those that went for Biden. Counties with an even higher share of the vote for Trump saw higher COVID-19 mortality rates.

Pro-Trump counties now have far higher COVID death rates : Shots - Health News : NPR

Old guy, don't try to pull the wool over anybody's eyes ... And don't try to think of an excuse to rationalize this -
You are likely going to pull an excuse from one of your many book of excuses .. "News lie, the way they counted deaths is wrong, etc etc etc etc"

One thing is for sure - We all know the facts ... We know that Counties that supported Trump (by 60% or more) had nearly a 3x higher death rate - That's not a statistical anomoly
