Old guy, you do not understand why a special council is put in place ...

It's put in place for the very exact reason you are arguing for - to keep any perceived politics or conflict of interest out of the investigation.

Think about it - The DOJ, who ultimately reports to Biden, investigating a candidate for presidency ...

That's why you DO have a special council -

Please explain to us why this is wrong and who should be doing the investigation? There are two choinces

1. DOJ

2. Someone indepedent

You are such a fool.

There are NO crimes worth investigating!

There was NO need for a special Council.

This is all a political move, you yourself admitted that when Trump announced that started this investigation!

Justice in the good old USA should be blind, but the left has made us a third world nation by using the FBI and the DOJ as a weapon against political opponents.

More than once have you posted against what the constitution stands for.  This is just one more time!

last time was when Pennsylvania courts ruled the state had violated the Federal Constitution during the election.  You and others of course DO NOT CARE about our constitution and ignored the ruling.

Bladeslap, when are you going to realize you are being lead like sheep, brainless sbeep.

Bladeslap when are you going to reaLise for 6 years now Trump has been investigated over one fake issue after another. Not one of your claims has been real, NOT ONE!

Because NO crimes had been charged.

I understand that it take time for the inefficient goverment to accomplish things, but get real.

Lets just look at the issue of Trump vs Georgia over changing votes.

You do understand that the conversation Trump had with Raffensperger was taped.

Now, two years later they still haven't found the words on that tape to charge Trump.

If there was anything on that taped phone call, Trump would have been charged a long time ago.

But there is NOT, so no charges just more investigation.

They can't allow charges to be filed and have the courts drop the charges or Trump to be found not guilty.

That would ruin their marching points, so they will continue to find one more fake issues and investigate.

Nome of this will go to court and you know it, it is just political game playing!

3rd world stuff at best!

Let's put away our political hats ...

What hasn't Hunter Biden been charged? They want to make sure they have an air-tight case before they charge the President's son ... I could argue the same point as you "No crime has been committed because they haven't charged him"

Why hasn't Trump been charged in Maro Lago? For one, he has been stalling the entire thing by getting Judge Canon involved to create a special master (Which the appeals court, 2 of 3 who were appointed by Trump, said "BS)

You are oversimplifying this - You don't charge a former president of the United States until and unless you have an airtight case -

Again, why hasn't he been charged? They're not even done going through all the documents -

So, your argument is completely invalid

Let's just take one issue in litigation, Trump's New York tax fraud. How big is 'the Apartment'? Trump has claimed different sizes and values for the apartment, depending on what he hoped to accomplish with each sworn statement of size and value.

Is it it 30,000 square feet or 11,796? Trump should know the difference, real estate being his speciality... Shoot, my dog would know the difference.

Is that apartment worth $116.8 million or $327 million. One for taxes and one for an attested financial statement of his worth. Trump should know the difference, real estate being his speciality... Shoot, my dog would know the difference.

Truth is Trump does know the difference but that doesn't matter to him- there's a line uttered by the forger in "Day of the Jackal"- "it doesn't matter if a document is authentic. Only that it is efficient." and does the job- make or allow Trump to make money.

Pick one: tax fraud or bank fraud or perhaps- both. Whatever- Trump is a liar a cheat and a thief.

If you have not noticed that the FBI ad DOJ are political arms of left, then you are so blinded yu can't even see any daylight.

They do NOT charge anyone on the left.

They do not even investigate anyone on the left.

They have even paided money, to keep news about Hunter out of Social media.

If you are Trump or a supporter a Trump, watch out they will do anything to hurt you, and I mean anything!

Things will change now the right has oversight control.

let's talk facts!

You are aware that Hillary E-mail contained information that was classified higher than "top secret ".

What happened to her?  Not one thing.

And she was not even the President, Trump was.

Trump had the power over the documents.  He could, classify or declassify any and all documents.

Hillary had NO control over the documents, once classifyed, she must follow the rules, she did not?

Trump was President, he made the rules!

Sure Trump may have violated some document control rule, but it would never add up to what Hillary did.  Her home was not raided, she did not follow inspectors guidelines and she destroyed evidence.  Yet, they decided that no one would charge her.

Those are the basic facts,

there is no reason to keep wasting our time and money. Investigating something they will never charge Trump for.

Before you dig yourself into a deeper hole, educate yourself a little - An analysis by a Republican so you can finally see that there IS a big difference between the two ...

In Clinton's case, the most sensitive "top secret" information on her servers was deemed by authorities to be "relevant to" and "associated with" a tightly-guarded "Special Access Program" -- and the inspector general said that "investigators found evidence of a conscious effort to avoid sending classified information, by writing around the most sensitive material."

"It's not unusual for folks with clearances to sometimes discuss classified matters in unsecure settings," said Tony Mattivi, a former federal prosecutor who coordinated the Justice Department's counterintelligence and counterterrorism cases in Kansas. "You can't always be in a [secure room] when you need to talk to some people or do certain things, so the way you do that is talk around the classified part. ... [But] that's very different than possessing classified material."

In contrast, federal authorities have recovered from Mar-a-Lago more than 100 "unique documents" marked "secret" and dozens of other documents marked "top secret," including "Special Access Program materials," according to the Justice Department and National Archives. Some of those documents marked "classified" were found inside Trump's desk in his office, the Justice Department said.

Accordingly, there "is a meaningful distinction" between Trump's alleged handling of classified documents and what the Justice Department's inspector general says transpired in the Clinton case, according to Mattivi, a Republican who recently lost a primary race to become attorney general of Kansas.

No, the FBI's Trump investigation is not just like the Hillary Clinton email probe. Here's why - ABC News (go.com)

People like leaders with a bit of Integrity; Trump was the opposite. He lied about EVERYTHING.

What do you do? You defend him because that's all you know how to do. Your mind goes to "Let me try to find a reason" rather than objectively looking at the data.

When you get a chance, go to http://artofthelie.org

Hopefully you'll sober up Old guy ...

And "Gaslighting"? More projection from you. It's exactly what Trump does. Accuse the other person first of what you yourself are doing ... Page 1 of Trump's playbook.
