Everybody knew Trump lied. They knew the purpose of his lie- to initiate the reversal of an election he clearly lost, by a violebt insurrection if necessary a la' January 6. Trump needed some pretense to justify the coup and claiming a flawed election is exactly the philosophy of Trump's failed business dealings: sue somebody, anybody and everybody. It's a threat designed to cow an opponent who doesn't want to litigate an issue forever. Chaos is trump's preferred state of operations. |

He scheme to get donations for "Stop the steal" may be deemed as fraud - Jack smith is investigating this. If they prove Trump TRULY knew that he lost and he 1. Started a fundraising compaign based on completely false allegations that he knew were false 2. Instructed people to go to the capitol to protest 3. Did nothing to break up the riot for hours ... He will, in my opinion, be held liable for many if not all of those...time will tell for sure |
