Under oath, Murdoch concedes Fox stars 'endorsed' lies about 2020 election : NPR
In the heat of the moment, right after Election Day 2020, media magnate Rupert Murdoch knew that the hosts on his prized Fox News Channel were endorsing lies from then-President Donald Trump about election fraud.
And he did nothing to intervene to stop it.
Instead, Murdoch, the network's controlling owner, followed the lead of the network's senior executives in sidestepping the truth for a pro-Trump audience angered when confronted by the facts.
Asked whether he could have told Fox News' chief executive and its stars to stop giving airtime to Rudy Giuliani — a key Trump campaign attorney peddling election lies — Murdoch assented. "I could have," Murdoch said. "But I didn't." |

But I am not that gullible!
NPR made big point that this as evidence presented.
BLADESLAP, PLEASE TELL US WERE THIS EVIDENCE WAS PRESENTED?
The case has not gone to court, so no testimony has been presented.
All of the depositions taken are under lock and key.
All of the people involved are under court order, not to talk about it.
SO WERE DID NPR GET THIS EVIDENCE?

All of the depositions taken are under lock and key.
Data, information is not a finite object that one can 'lock up'. The information exists outside depositions and may be available directly or indirectly from many sources.
Example: I witnessed a car crash. Fopr some reason, the court has ordered me not to discuss what I saw. Suppose I am not the only witness.... |

It is NOT PRESENTED EVIDENCE, if it is hearsay from a neighbor or made up at the water cooler.
NPR's complete article is written from the point of view this was from a testimony, even calling it presented evidence. I ask "presented were?"
If it was hearsay from what might have been said from someone at a deposition, then that should have been explained. (We overheard this at the coffee shop).
NPR is well known for making up stories and this clearly is a good example.
I find it funny that the left just can't wait for honest answers, about the law suit.
And for some unknown reason you think the out come of these cases may prove the election fair. We already have proven the election was a fraud.

You are wrong Old guy - These are sworn depositions - Sworn testimony for the case
Murdoch testified Fox News hosts endorsed idea that Biden stole election | Reuters
Murdoch testified Fox News hosts endorsed idea that Biden stole election
Feb 27 (Reuters) - Fox Corp Chairman Rupert Murdoch acknowledged under oath that some Fox hosts "endorsed" the notion that the 2020 U.S. presidential election was stolen, according to a court filing unsealed Monday.
Documents in the case in Delaware state court show Murdoch and other Fox executives believed Joe Biden fairly beat Donald Trump and that the results were not in doubt.
.....
Murdoch's testimony is from his deposition in the lawsuit. Reuters has not viewed all his testimony because it remains under seal.

I highly doubt that Reuters was at the deposition, do you really think the news is allowed .
The testimony is still under lock and key.
It is possible that Reuters has a reliable soutce of information from the deposition.
But it is still hearsay!
And it appears Reuters is somewhat believable when they wrote,
MURDOCH TESTIFIED, FOX NEWS HOSTS ENDORSED THE IDEA THAT BIDEN STOLE THE ELECTION.
Reuters Feb 27 statement is a far cry from what NPR and you posted.
You clearly stated "Murdoch said they lied", and according to what Reuthers wrote, that is a lie.

Dominion wrote a brief to the court which contains quoted text from the depositions of most if not all the fox hosts - this is only one of many documents. They are considered official court documents as they are submitted evidence.

Read the damn brief
Read it understanding that it is from one side of the case.
Read it understanding that words could be taken out of context.
Read it without putting words or adding words were they do not belong.
Murdoch never said that the Fox News Hosts lied. |

Old guy -
The Document provided by Dominion diretly quotes exerpts of the despositions they took with Murdoch among others. They cannot capricioulsy make things up that the FOX personalites stated in SWORN DEPOSITION, otherwise they would be presenting lies to a Federal Judge and the FOX people could easily refute that and severely damage the Dominion Case.
You state "The words can be taken out of context"
No Old guy - The words are direct quotes from the depositions.
Get used to this new reality - FOX has been lying to you and the county. There are sworn depositions, text messages, among other things, directly taken from testimony.
It's time for Old guy to finall come to terms with what has been going on with FOX. I don't blame you Old guy and am not even angry. You just simply believed what FOX was telling you..What the personalities were doing. They were knowingly putting guests on who were lying to you and the nation for TWO reasons
1. They didnt want to alienate their base
2. They knew they would make a lot more money pusing conspiracy theories
Pooty and you now know with absolute certainty that you've been conned and what are you doing?
Think about it

It is very clear that Murdock said "Fox hosts endorsed notion that the election was stolen "
Not Fox hosts lied that the election was stolen.
If you want to twist his words, and Keep thinking you are right, that's OK.
I understand what you are, it has been proven over and over ---- USEFUL IDIOT.

First,
You may want to get a hold of your emotions so you can view this objectively and understand your eomtions are blinding you to the truth.
Old guy - It's in black & White below. you can try to spin it anyway you want. Call everybody an idiot. The world disagrees with you - Even Murdoch disagrees with you. He clearly is saying the election was not stolen but is trying to not place the blame on Fox, but rather on the individual commentators.
From Deposition above (we have to re-type it in because yuo don't seem to understand it)
Q: You are Aware now that Fox Did more than simply hosts these guests and give htem a plaform; correct?
A: I think you've shown me some material in support of that
Q: In fact, you are now aware that Fox endorsed at times this false notion of a stolen election
A: Not Fox, No Not Fox. But maybe Lou Dobbs, Maybe Maria, as commentators
Q: We went through Fox Hosts Bartiromo, yes?
A: Yes, C'mon
------------
Unless You don't understand English, A question was posed whether FOX endorsed the stolen election...He responded no, not ofox, by maybe Lou Dobbs, Maybe Maira, as commentators.
He is ACKNOLEDGING that there were people on his station endorsing the stolen election.
What part of that do you not understand?

Ihave never before posted with someone as hardheaded or just plain stupid as you.
It is well known Murdoch disslikes Trump, he has said many things about Trump.
But in everything he said, and everything you posted, Murdoch has NOT thrown his employees under the buss by saying that they lied!
Even in this post you made to prove your point --- HE SAYS THEY ENDORSED.
He has always used the word endorsed, never used the word lied.
Even in this last post of yours he does not say they lied, they endorsed.
I am done posting about this. It is like tallking to a stupid usefull idiot, like you are!
