To be correct about it there been NO confirmation that this evern happened. Very good chance it is fake news.
But most important this January 6 Committee is not even a real committee under the rules of the house. There are NO designated republicans on the committee, so the committee should have NO standing. Just a bunch of hate Trumpers, a topical kangaroo court, supporting disinformation, lies and dishonesty about Trump.
