Trump's base of approval is firm in the low forty percent range. Considering that he was elected with 46.1% of the popular vote and scored a very small improvement in the 2020 election as an incumbent-46.9%, I don't think you have any hope of seeing him inthe Oval Office without an active, armed insurrection. He failed in that effort on January 6 as a sitting president, before being impeached twice and well before the criminal investigations started.
Trump was an outsider he managed a successful 2016 campaign. But the country and the voters know him now after he mismanged, denied and diminished the novel coronavirus pandemic, killing hundreds of thousands of Americans, setting record unemployment numbers and causing the sharpest economic contraction since the Great Depression.
Looks to me like a Trump Slump after the Trump Flu and the the 2020 recession... at least according to Gallup:
