You really think those people are moving because of the weather.

 You maybe right, weather or not they have a good life style.

Explain why some real winter type states like Idaho, Montana and Utah have made some of the biggest population gains?  Not exactly like living on the beach.

Why is Hawaii one of the big population loser's?

The people in Oregon are going to have the same damn weather, they just mwant out of a blue state.

You are correct that the industrialized Northeast is a failed industrialized model, not because of the industry, but because of the goverment overseeing it (remember Detroit).  Industries in red states don't appear to have these problems.  In fact, blue state industries and moving to red states!
